Da Ming jian
This is an ancient tin mirror specially made for Daming Palace. The relief on the front side is a bird's eye view of Daming Palace from the Ming Dynasty's "Shaanxi General Annals", which details the distribution and name of Daming Palace. It is the only realistic bird's eye view of Daming Palace in existing ancient literature. The back of the mirror is engraved with "Bao Xiang Hua", an auspicious decorative pattern popular in palaces during the Tang Dynasty.

The Daming Palace of Tang Dynasty covers an area of 3.5 square kilometers, its area is equivalent to 3 Versailles, 4.5 Forbidden City, 12 Kremlin, 13 Louvre, 15 Buckingham Palace, which fully demonstrates the majestic style of palace architecture in Tang Dynasty.
